You must be thinking of updating your makeup kit as the temperature is rising high and humidity is knocking doors. Switching to light-weight , dewey products must be your priority.

Ladies! Skip the heavy mask step entirely and settle on New low-maintanance beauty trend- “Non Touring.” Follow Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively.

Non-touring Is the Next Buzz-y Makeup Trend—and We’re Actually Kind of Into It.

The makeup trend is a backlash to contouring and is called non-touring

It’s about fresh, dewy skin with natural, glowy highlighted skin.

Forget contouring, strobing and baking: there’s a new trend in makeup that’s been described as ‘Spanx for the skin’. You know you are wearing it but non else can recognize.

It’s a repercussion from the heavily contoured and highlighted trend of the past year, which have remarks of layers and layers of makeup.

Instead non-touring is focused on subtle and simple makeup that highlights your skin rather than layering it. Why would any one opt for layers of cosmetics ,  heavy lipstick , greesy foundation when nice,  dewey look can turn heads towards you. The sweet 16 look is In ladies and you gotta try it!

Similar to the “baby face” trend, non-touring spotlights fresh, plumpy skin and lightly strobed features. Celebrity Kendall Jenner have mastered this look.

This trend is a marvel for makeup amature as it requires on three steps to make you look like a fairy on earth.  Non-touring doesn’t use the layers of heavy foundation, blush and bronzer that other looks have and instead just requires tinted moisturiser and a good natural highlighter.

Three Steps

  • Just prime your skin
  • Apply the tinted moisturiser
  • highlight the high points of the skin

Simply prime your skin with a good moisturising primer like and let it set. Next, apply a dewy tinted moisturiser all over the face. Finally apply a soft highlighter to your cheekbones, brow bone and nose and you’re done. The look was seen at recent Chloe and Balmain runway shows, and is much softer than the previous heavily done up looks.

Lately celebrities like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have also been sporting the trend, which is designed to look like you’re barely wearing any makeup at all.

I am in love with this trend as I am well known for soft and subtle makeup among most of the models.  They tell me that their skin breathes and they are so comfortable to give their 100% on shoot.   I believe that must be the reason  they look for me when it comes to choosing a MUA.

I know it must be difficult for few of you to give up on your contoured look but if it works for Celebs it works for us.
